Welcome to our Grade 1 - 2 learning community!
In our classroom, the goal is that every individual feels safe and welcome. Our classroom rules and routines are designed to protect the right to learn and to enjoy school. Click on the "Expectations" link to read more.
Communication is an important part of a successful school year. The agenda is the main form of communication between classroom and home. It will be used to communicate daily learning, special activities and important information. Please take the time to read and discuss the message with your child each day. Have your child take responsibility for showing you the message as well as the contents in the front pocket of the agenda which is where important paperwork will be placed. Please also sign or initial the agenda DAILY so that I know you are aware of its contents.
The "Announcements" link provides occasional updates and under the "Housekeeping" link you will find other important information. Once available, the special days snack list will also be posted.
The "Wish List" link provides ideas for items that will enhance classroom activities throughout the year.
I look forward to a year of growing and learning together!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rowland
